How does this work?

 One-on-one instruction is the key.

 Babies 6 months to 12-14 months (pre-walker):

  • Four-week program (12-16 lessons)
  • Your child will learn to roll over from a face-down or submerged position onto their backs to relax and breathe.
  • They will perform these skills while fully clothed before graduation.
  • These lessons are one-on-one, 4 days a week, 10-12 minutes a day, for four consecutive weeks.

Children 12-14 months to 6 years old:

  • Six-week program (24-25 lessons)
  • This program teaches the survival swim technique we call
    "swim-float-swim."
  • Children are taught to swim on their tummies, roll over to breathe, then flip back over and swim.
  • They will propel themselves to the side of the pool unassisted and fully clothed before graduation.
  • These lessons are one-on-one, 4 days a week, 10-12 minutes a day, for 6 consecutive weeks.

The lessons may seem short but each lesson is intense and  suited to a small child’s attention span.

Group lessons at most facilities typically offer 10 minutes of  instruction and 20 minutes of play, and children forget what
they learned.
